The brief
Eden Hair & Beauty is one of Ashford's busiest independent salons — a Stanhope Road address that does everything from a precision dry cut to dermaplaning, balayage to spray tans. They came to us with a clear ask: a website that looked as good as the work, made it easy for new clients to find the treatment they wanted, and got bookings landing in the diary without a phone call.
"Modern and elegant" was the brief in three words. The deeper need was operational — they needed the website to do real work behind the chair. New clients should be able to discover the salon, browse the right treatment, see honest pricing, and book a slot before closing the tab.
How we approached it
We started with photography. A salon website that uses stock images is dead on arrival — clients want to see this salon, this team, these results. The home page leads with a soft, photography-driven hero and a short, warm pitch ("where your style and well-being come first") that sets the tone before any service is mentioned.
Architecturally, we built the site around ten distinct treatment categories — each with its own card on the home page, and several with their own dedicated sub-pages (waxing, dermaplanning, brows & lashes, nails, massage, spray tan). This gives Eden a strong shot at local SEO for searches like "dermaplaning Ashford" or "balayage near me" while keeping the home page focused on the overall vibe.
Booking, vouchers, and retail are all powered by Fresha, deeply integrated into the site so the salon team don't have to manage a separate calendar tool. Pricing splits cleanly into two pages — Hair Prices and Beauty Prices — reflecting how clients actually think about the salon.
